ServiceNow Engineer | Enterprise Digital Transformation Platform | Hybrid, Lisbon
Hiire is supporting a global enterprise technology organization in the search for a ServiceNow Developer to join a growing team focused on transforming internal operations and employee experiences through modern enterprise platforms.
This is an opportunity to work inside a large-scale international technology environment, contributing to digital transformation initiatives that support operational excellence, process automation, and enterprise-wide platform modernization.
The role is particularly well suited to engineers who enjoy problem-solving, platform development, process optimization, and collaborating closely with both technical and business stakeholders.
You’ll be contributing to the implementation and evolution of multiple ServiceNow modules, including:
IT Service Management (ITSM)
Asset Management
Project & Portfolio Management
Mobility and workflow automation solutions
The broader objective is to improve employee experiences, streamline operational workflows, and modernize how work is managed across the organization.
Develop and configure technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform following best practices and platform standards
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and design scalable solutions
Implement new business processes, reporting solutions, test automation workflows, mobility features, and asset management capabilities
Monitor the health, usage, and compliance of the ServiceNow platform and related applications
Troubleshoot technical issues and communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
Maintain operational manuals and technical documentation
Contribute to the continuous optimization of support processes and internal services
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS, AJAX, HTML, and CSS
Understanding of core IT concepts such as networks, databases, application servers, web services, and distributed systems
Ideally 1+ year of experience in web development
Motivation to learn and grow within the ServiceNow ecosystem
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Customer-oriented attitude and strong communication skills
Proactive approach to overcoming technical challenges
Good written and spoken English skills
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, HAM, SAM, or ITOM
Salary Range: 28k-45k
€1200 home office budget
